Education
The children of the NGTF are no strangers to hard work in place of an education.
Nepal Green Tara foundation has build 5 schools in last 8 to 10 years at Nuwakot and Sindupalchok.Our main object is fight poverty with Education and stop the human trafficking of young girls to India and other western countries. We have nearly over 700 students where we provide and support with funding from school uniform, stationary,health and scholarship programs for outstanding student in Year 10 and also for those whose family are financial unstable.

School Uniform Distribution
For Multiple Schools
To give a child a new school uniform is the first step or the beginning of their journey towards learning and also gives the student a feeling of pride. Many of our students cannot afford a school uniform as they are very poor and there are those who are not able to buy new uniform every other year. Due to this uniform issue, there are students who then decide not to go to school entirely. This is why NGTF supplies new school uniforms every 2 years. Many thanks to Founders Pledge (London) for their support and funding.

Books Distribution for Multiple Schools
On noticing this gap NGTF have been providing to over 290 students ranging from english books, math books, colour books, drawing colours, pencils, pens and numerous such required / essential items for several years now.
As a result of low income, very limited new income opportunities and hand to mouth situation a large number of children are not able to buy new text books, stationery and other required items. However for the last 2 years Founders Pledge has been very supportive in providing the funds to help us purchase and distribute such essential items to our students, we are truly blessed and grateful for their continual support, thank you.
DARJEELING EDUCATION TOUR
The main objective of this educational tour was to know about physical, historical, cultural, religious, educational and social aspects of illam as well as Darjeeling.
